From the Kid's Perspective

Raising your child in the way he should go...a perspective from a kid!
from a message from Ben Courson
http://www.bencourson.com/Parenting: From The Kid's Perspective
1. Believe in your child.
2. Don't panic - be confident. (the hardest for me!)
3. Pray for your kids!
4. Family devotions.
5. Personal integrity.
6. Give out love regardless of your kids response!
7. Discipline with love and punish when in rebellion.
8. Bless you kids with good gifts.
9. Spend time with your kids. Seek them out!
10. Establish what your family is about.
and lastly these, he threw in for free :) -
Friendship with your child comes after respect
And children - all you have to do is ONE thing:
Honor/obey your parents!

This was an amazing and encouraging message and these bullet points just don't do it justice!
So if you can listen to it, you really should. :)

It was encouraging and convicting. I had to repent, first to God and then my daughters!
